A fter an exciting year, which has brought us many curricular surprises and challenges in the elt department, we invite you to take a moment to stop and think about all the novelties and ponder what is still to come.

With the help of experienced English teachers, presenters, textbook authors, and creative geniuses we will try to answer some of today's burning educational questions. How to plan, assess, evaluate, engage, motivate, present? The teacher is the sole answer to all these questions.

That is why this year’s 3rd elt Meeting is dedicated to the Vitruvian Teacher, the teacher at the heart of every educational reform and the mover behind every change.

It is not only our educational system that is changing – this year, our traditional quiz also changes its form. You will find all the details on the spot, but in the meantime you can prepare for it and test your knowledge and luck in our online quiz every week.

All quizes have ended.

About the speakers

  • Leon Lučev as a child wanted to be a driver, but he ended up becoming one of the most prominent names of Croatian film. Behind that is a human being who loves, is vulnerable, honest, brave…and for whom art is a way of communicating with the world.
  • Cody McClain Brown is a legal alien in Zagreb. He is an American who teaches at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He is also raising his child, he walks his dog, and – writes. He has plenty to say about how different (and, for that matter, how similar) our two societies are.
  • Daška Domljan and Ankica Knezović are well-known and experienced teachers, presenters, and textbook authors. As always, they are bursting with ideas and enthusiasm.
  • Ivana Kirin and Marinko Uremović are wonder teachers who never get tired of looking for (and also finding!) some great ways around the usual and difficult.
  • Mia Šavrljuga is inspirational at whatever she does, and giving lectures is just one of her many talents, especially when it is based on her own classroom experience.
